Westpac

Challenge

Westpac engaged Nomad to explore opportunities to creatively visualise customer data to empower users for better banking. More than standard graphs, the solution needed to engage users with their financial data, discover opportunities and empower them to make financial decisions

Response

After technical, design, data and audience research, Nomad developed a working prototype using live financial data through a tactile iPad interface.
Users can visualise the relationship between transaction types and how it affects their monetary persona.
Over time, the visualisation evolves with the user, presenting insights into habits as well as opportunities for the attainment of goals.

Results

As a prototype, the solution demonstrated the power of connecting users with their financial data in visual and tactile ways while still feeling familiar, relevant and secure. The development of the solution into a working version benefits internal teams to share concepts and interaction opportunities for future developments.
