How Tablets Will Transform Construction – or not.
Will tablets revolutionise the building industry? Perhaps not. There’s an interestingly negative reaction to this article from the commenters – and they’re not just trolls for a change. One of them says he has a degree! From experience, I can certainly see how apps are useful on-site, but until we have truly rugged digital paper [...]30 New Tablet Usage Stats Marketers Should Know

‘Couple Up’ For Travel Offers
Here’s an interesting promotional mechanic from Scandinavian Airlines that requires 2 people (couple up to buckle up!) to work together to access special travel deals offered by the airline. Based off the insight that “people book trips when they sit down together”, in order to redeem this offer, you need to be pair up your [...]JWT: Trends. 100 Things to Watch in 2012.

“Facebook Alert: Hi, you have 3 ex-girlfriends and 1 mother in-law within 300 metres, would you like to go offline now?”
The end of Facebook Places
Facebook have admitted defeat in the location wars and are retiring Facebook Places.
Is it just me or does it feel like they didn’t really give it a proper chance? I’ve only just got used to the ‘new’ iPhone app with Places in the home screen and come to accept the little paper dart (or whatever it’s supposed to be?) popping up each time I use Facebook mobile. [...]
